Competitiveness

"Why does everything have to be a contest!"

This question was asked by a dear friend of mine. This man was a businessman, and very aware of competitive business practices and situations. However, he was dismayed at the attitude of competitiveness, jealousness caused by what he saw as a very unchristian competitive spirit operating within the church. Even conversations were often colored by it.

Changing the narrative

The guest speaker at Church was Johhny Enroe. I have seen his name listed among other prophetic speakers, but I am usually unimpressed by that stuff.

PATHWAY

Your word is a lamp to my feet
and a light to my path.

Psalm 119:105

Walk, walk, walk in the light. Walk walk, walk in the path of life. Oh, Lord, You have made the course I am travelling easy. The road was cemented so ti will not be rocky and muddy to be slippery. You hace also installed lights in every post.

Another Try on Blogging

I haven’t been blogging for awhile now. I haven’t had the inspiration or the drive to start and complete blogs. Reading through some of the posts here has inspired me to start a new blog so I can profess my faith in God and His goodness in my life and in the people around me. As I am touched by the stories shared on this site, I hope to do the same and in the strength that God has allowed me. This is indeed a fresh start and it also encourages me to read the Bible so I will be more inspired and share what I have learned in a larger scale.

All Positive?

Life, like a battery, must have both positive and negative to work properly.

God’s word gives us many examples.

Notice these verses from Proverbs 15:25-29

The Precious Price

"But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5).
