What Is Good News?

Let’s say your eight year-old child disappeard in a crowded shopping mall right from under your nose, and it is three hours later. Your cell phone rings, and as you lift it to your ear, your heart cries out, “Oh let this be good news.” What kind of news would that good news be?

Palm Sunday a guest pastor at my church gave a message on forgiveness. God sent Christ into humanity in order to forgive us. Just as we have been forgiven, we should forgive others. This is the message of Easter.
