No one wants to be called a Pharisee, as biblically the Pharisees received much condemnation from our Lord. Indeed, their greatest sin was rejecting Him, the very Son of God in person.

Easter According to Jesus: Forgive

 

 

He was Scourged – This is not just a whipping = Scourging tears the flesh from the body - A Crown of Thorns – Like nails into the scalp - Most of his beard pulled out - Clothes put on and ripped off - Large wooden cross put on His shoulder - Iron spikes driven through hands and feet - Arms tied - Cross dropped in hole muscles and tendons stretch and rip - Left to die.

Easter in One Word: Forgiveness

 

Palm Sunday a guest pastor at my church gave a message on forgiveness. God sent Christ into humanity in order to forgive us. Just as we have been forgiven, we should forgive others. This is the message of Easter.

Revelation 12:1-2 (NIV)

A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.

I just ended chapter eleven of Revelation with my last post, and to be honest I did not feel like I did a very good job of it. For example: If someone asks you a question, stick with the most direct answer. There in my problem lies.
