Welcome to the first post on the new Group which for now is called Web Evangelism. Two of our users volunteers "Lynn" and "Mike" will be heading up this group. How Can They Know Him if They Have Not Heard?
As a culture, we are rediscovering the validity of spirituality, once again making room for insight, intuition and even revelation. Articles on angels, near-death experiences, prayer and healing have become cover stories. Spiritual themes run throughout contemporary music. Films and television increasingly explore religious ideas and settings. People are interested in spiritual things, they're asking spiritual questions and are beginning to see that many of their deepest needs are spiritual in nature.

Evangelizing to the muslim is more important than burning his "holy book".
Hey everyone!!!! Been a long time, I know. My appologies but I have been focusing my efforts on other areas of concern of late and the lack of response from everyone had me troubled. How many of you all were watching the koran burning threat of Pastor Terry Jones play out this past week?
As christians, it is our duty to go out and make disciples of ALL people. Yes folks, this includes our enemies who would kill us at every opportunity. Many of our christian counterparts feel the need to respond to hatred with hatred. That is not what Jesus taught us to do however. We are to love our enemies. While the muslim is just as likely to reject our loving God as the mainstream culture is, it is our duty to send the message to the nation of islam just as much as the rest of the world. For us to take up such a task perhaps we need to understand the muslim better. The link above seems to be very useful. I have not found the time to verify the whole article as i just came across it but i will be spending some more time there. Perhaps some of you have an interest in this as well. Islam is very fast growing religion in our country so it may be that perhaps some of you OUGHT to grow an interest in educating yourselves on how to combat this satanic attack via God's Word. How Shall They Hear Of Salvation?
Of what use is a salvation offered to people if they never hear about it? Paul teaches us in Romans 10:5-21 the steps that lead to salvation.
1) God sends out His servants.
2) They preach the good news of salvation.
3) Sinners hear God's offer of life in Christ.
4) Some of those who hear believe the message.
5) Those who believe call on the Lord.
6) Those who call on Him are saved.

Ok,ok... Well I hope I have lured some fresh eyes into our cafe with my title. We have some good news and some bad news it seems folks. While I generally prefer to receive the bad news first myself ,I am going to type the good first this time. Our group is slowly growing!!!! Hallelujah for you all!!!!! The bad news is, we aren't getting anyone to step forward and help out to make this effort flourish. Folks, as Christian people it is us... you and I who are going to take it upon ourselves to take action.

Hello W.E.C. (Web Evangelism Cafe). Ok, I am new to this so i pray the Holy Spirit may guide me through this initial post. First off, I am very excited to be involved in this group I have to tell you all. My name is Mike, although the initial message introduces me as "Twiz".(HINT HINT David, if we could fix that it would be great,haha. Payne78 is my screen name inside the bible.org community.) Ok.
