Volunteer Task: Translator Support System

Purpose: To develop a system that will support the volunteer translators in their task to see which articles have been translated in each language and to identify articles that need to be translated next in that language.

Implementation: we need the following

1- an easy way to see what article has been translated into another language. If we come up with a spreadsheet format with the most popular article on the left (rows) and the language it has been translated into (columns) we will have an easy way to see what articles are recommended to be translated into language (XYZ)

1a we need to show the articles that are currently being translated to prevent duplication

2a we need a review and critique methodology to help maintain quality of translation

2- we need a community with FAQ's for supporting the translators

3- we need to have an easy way to help them with translator support references that we can obtain or show links to dictionaries etc.

4- we need to promote the translators and recognize their efforts

5- other ? What is missing

Rationale: From the onslaught of the Internet and the world wide web we have moved from living within a national society to now living in a global world. Therefore, the more we can translate articles into the trade languages the more we can serve the world of believers and unbelievers so that they might come to know the Messiah.
