Path to Spiritual Maturity Meeting #18 Recap - Assessing/Sharing

a. Go over last week’s assignment of assessing your life and sharing the Foundations Pathway.

 

b. Finish with time for questions/comments.

 

If we run out of time you can always e-mail us, or post in the discussion group. I will post those e-mail addresses and the group link at the end of our session.

-Go over last week’s assignment with your assessment, seeing where you need to continue with extra effort, giving feedback on the program, and finding someone else to take through the pathway.

 

How did the assessment go? Did it pinpoint areas where you need to work on more? Applications? Knowledge? 

 

What kinds of things would you suggest for improving the Path to Spiritual Maturity? What could make it more convenient? What one thing would you change about the pathway or your experience on it that you feel would have helped you grow better or faster (or would be better for others)? 

 

Did you find someone else to take through the pathway? Have you started with them on the pathway? When will you meet with them regularly to discuss what they have learned and been applying? 

 

For me, developing the pathway has been a great tool in helping me to see what discipleship is really about, and in challenging me to intentionally and continually be working at both my growth and at the growth of others. I want to see others taking the leadership to be intentional about having a growing relationship with God which they in turn want to share with others. Much about discipleship can vary, but it requires an understanding of the truths of God’s Word,  application of the truths of God’s Word, and healthy, biblical relationships that encourage and aid in that in the way God designed for the church to function.

 

Will you share God’s work in your life with others and help them in their walk while continuing to be intentional about your own? Will you look to use your gifts to benefit the body of Christ? Will you share the good news of the gospel with others and then help those who believe to develop a firm foundation for learning and growing?

 

Let's do it by the grace of God for His glory!
