Path To Spiritual Maturity, Intentional Discipleship
The great commission is about both Evangelism and Discipleship. At Bible.org we want to encourage both. To that end we have been working on a Project that will provide tools to help individuals, groups, or churches be intentional about truly growing in discipleship (and thus evangelism).

Practical Words on Learning to Share One's Faith
Knowing that we are called to the great commision is one thing, but how do we practically begin doing it? Like with anything new, the task can seem daunting. Particularly if we do not see it being modelled much in our churches today. The more we do it though, the easier and more natural it will come.

Transforming Churches Network
I am part of an effort in The Lutheran-Church Missouri Synod in the Florida-Georgia District to help congregations that have plateaued or are decliniing to develop and outward focus which will get them involved in the community meeting the needs of people and sharing the love of Jesus. We are always searching for things which congregations and/or individual Christians have done to share Jesus with people. If we share them here, then many more can learn ways to reach out. We have many disobedient churches who have almost no outward focus and only worry about caring for their own.

My desire with this group is to encourage ourselves and each other in sharing our faith and in growing in our obedience to the Great Commission. It will be interesting to see how God uses this endeavor as we "go public" with the user site of Bible.org. So, if you have anything pertinent related to our topic that you would like to share, feel free. The only thing that I would request, is that in discussions, and in sharing stories/prayer requests let's try to keep the focus on glorifying our Lord and edifying each other.
