Goals for February

Well instead of using my blog for specific topic posts I thought I'd use the group post feature instead!

Here are my goals for February:

  • lose 8 pounds (2 pounds a week)
  • reduce the amount of diet coke I drink - no more than 3 (trust me that's a lot less than I've been drinking now)
  • stick to my workout schedule*
    Monday - Chest & Tri with cardio
    Tuesday - Legs
    Wednesday - Back & Bi with cardio
    Thursday - REST
    Friday - Chest & Tri with cardio
    Saturday - Legs
    Sunday - Back & Bi with cardio
  • stick with reading plan for Bible in a year
  • study hard (taking sports conditioning and nutrition classes)
  • try to keep on some kind of schedule with the laundry (with 3 boys and 2 adults a schedule is essential if I don't wanna spend the weekend in the laundry room lol)

Yeah a couple aren't related to health and fitness but this is my overview :)

So people...what are YOUR health and fitness (and general) goals for the month of February - if you haven't made any NOW is the time.

*my cardio consists of 30 minutes of treadmill and 30 minutes of bellydancing.  we also started walking the dogs lol

My Goals for February

Finish Recooping from my Hysterectomy.

Get totally released from the doctor on Feb 10th.

Get back on my workout routine.

Cardio-30 min to 1 hr 3x's a week

Trainer- 1 hour a week

Work out on my own 1 to 2 days a week

Tell my family I love them everyday. Let them know in small ways how much they mean to me and how much I appreciate them. Spend more Family time together.

Hi there Dani, 

I just got permission from the doc to go back to the gym as well!  Some women I know only took a few days to recover from their hysterectomies but I had mine in November and it's now february 2nd,  but thankfully they removed all signs of cancer so I am cancer free! :) YIPPEE....

Although the forum requires a seperate registration we DO have a private, women's only area if you wanna talk.  Or just shoot me an email :) I've also created a bible.org women usergroup here as well.

I love your last goal "tell my family I love them everyday"  that is a fantabulous (word from my 8 year old) goal and I LOVE IT!!! We have reinstituted 'family game night' where we take turns picking a board game.  We are going to add pizza night to that as well where we make the pizzas ourselves.

Fitness for February

First I gotta say, I made my first New Years res. in a long time; To get closer to Jesus.  Oddly enough, the harder I try the more the world trys to get in the way.

Finish creating a new Kama Kata for the Karate School.
Get through our first Martial Arts promotion ceremony.
Train to test a new Black Belt in March.
Brush up on the different Traditional Forms.
Lose the rest of a spare tire.

(more crunches, and leg lifts)

 Teaching 2 hours of Karate Wed. and Fri. and Assisting 2 hours on Thurs.  Forms and self defenses on Thurs, and Sparring and Randori on Wed.
Need to add a Student class on monday maybe.

AAAAaaand, get face deeper in the word!!
