The purpose is to objectively investigate the historical, cultural, religious and linguistic roots of the Christian faith. To identify sound biblical doctrines as well as discovering the questionable teaching that has infiltrated our Western churches. To study the scriptures from the Hebraic worldview of the original authors (both Old and New Covenant writers). This is not intended as a means for starting a Christian/Jewish assembly or worship group. Rather, it is a forum for gaining a deeper understanding of our biblical relationship with the God of Abraham and recognizing and fulfilling the new covenant requirements.

Concerning the Godhead
On another group thread, a nebulous question concerning the Godhead was raised.
One of the problems confronting many Christians today is that there are a great many 'self-educated' Bible scholars and not enough students of the Bible. Having a good translation of the scriptures handy, so everyone can have immediate access to the word of God is both a blessing and a curse.

Introduction
I am new to this forum and have not yet posted any material by which my contributions, character, or motivations can be evaluated. I have, however, a web site of my own where interested members of this forum might get to know me a ‘little’ better. http://hatalmidim.proboards.com/index.cgi
However, I fully intend that the subjects discussed on this forum, should remain on this forum, and not require jumping from one site to another.
