Modifying a Bible to Make it Chronological?

Hi all--
I have a Sony Reader PRS-300 and LOVE it. I want to start reading the Bible on it. I used to use YouVersion on the Blackberry, but the reading plan didn't let you create bookmarks, and there were a couple of other problems that made it not too user-friendly.
Through YouVersion, I discovered the wonder of the chronological Bible. It makes so much more sense to me when I read it i order. However, I also discovered that chronological Bibles are made in only a few translations.
What I'd really like to do is take a Message Bible or an NLT (both of which are easy for me to grasp) and rearrange the verses/chapters to make them chronological. I know that an epub file is really XML, so it seems like it's doable.
How much of a pain would that be? If I can't do it myself, I'd gladly pay an e-reader savvy soul to do it.
Any suggestions are appreciated. My ultimate goal is to have a chronological Bible epub in either Message or NLT (or even Holman). That would be awesome.
Thanks to anyone who can respond.

Submitted by SophieAnn on Tue, 09/27/2011 - 08:30.This Bible is wonderful for putting events into historical context. While it should not be the only Bible you read, or the Bible you take to church with you, this is unique and can help you GREATLY in understanding the order of events in the life of God's people. I found it on files search http://byfiles.com and read it every day. This is real comfort and calmness.

Submitted by mathewmarkluke on Thu, 12/01/2011 - 18:05.I have much to learn. I always thought the Bible was more or less in chronological order, at least within both testaments. Do you have a specific example of where chronological order is broken in the Old Testament? David, what phones will the mobile app work on? Thanks!

Submitted by sidkofnn on Wed, 06/20/2012 - 17:01.I'm probably going to be saying this a few times throughout this "series" of weblog posts. I LOVE the way you write out your thought method. It is the exact same as mine, but very . (and the same jogos de meninas opinions !)
But I have never thought about multiplying the earth the way you mention it here. It is definitely something to think about.
