My Top Six Favorite Bible Study Programs
I am going to try to get this group going again, after a bit of a hiatus. I thought I would start by listing some of my favorite Bible study programs. These are the six programs I seem to gravitate towards. Feel free to share your thoughts on other programs that may or may not be listed here.

Bible Analyzer
Bible Analyzer is available online as freeware, or can be ordered as a CD-ROM, on the Bible Analyzer website. The program was created by Timothy S. Morton, who seems to be a member of the "King James Only." Despite this preference for the KJV, Bible Analyzer does make some non-KJV English Bibles available, including the NET Bible. The program has some features that make it very useful, and set it above the pack of free Bible programs.

Berean Bible Study Freeware
BerBible is freeware bible study program available at this site. It is an extremely simple program to download and use. On the down side, it has a minimal number of features. This program essentially gives the user the basics. The starter pack download is quite simple, and consists of a handful of Bible versions. It is FREE, and only takes a few minutes to download.

SwordBible

SwordBible is another program available through Crosswire.org. It shares many features with some of the other Crosswire products, such as The Sword Project and Bible Desktop. It is FREE, and there is a compact version that can be downloaded onto a USB flash drive, so you can use it on any computer.

FireBible
FireBible is a Bible reading program that integrates with Firefox. It coordinates with either JSword or Bible Desktop.
The software installs pretty easily, but I had some difficulty getting it to work after it was installed. The instructions on the FireBible website are a bit confusing. After some experimentation, though, I figured out that it was pretty easy to use FireBible in conjunction with Bible Desktop. Here are a few observations I have, after using FireBible for a few days:

This program was created by Brandon Staggs, and has gone through many different updates over the past several years. The full version is pretty reasonably priced, and you can download a trial version at the Sword Searcher website.

e-Sword LIVE

This is a simplified, online version of e-Sword, with a few of the basic features available on the original e-Sword software. It can be found at live.e-sword.net.
- Available online for free.
- Multiple translations to choose from, including: KJV, ESV, CEV, Douay, NASB, God's Word, and several others.
- Foreign language Bibles available, including: Luther's Bible and the Spanish Reina-Valera.
