    Thanks Ozzie, I've never blogged here before and didn't really know what to expect from the community, but it's good to see that there are those who read what's going up; I myself try to avoid allowing myself to get caught up in other's writing, it's distracting haha. I'm glad you enjoyed it though, I'm not exactly proud of my ability to sit down each day because of my free time, but I do enjoy the time I spend with God. Hope you continue growing ever closer to Him while on your lunch breaks and hammering out those posts; keep me in your prayers if you would Oz.

    I really valued you sharing about the personal communication time that you spend with the Lord. I suspect that I am envious that you had the time to sit in your car for an extra 15 minutes, when I find myself often pressed for time.

    People, at work, ask me why I leave the building everyday at lunch. My answer is that is gives me bible study time, and a time to recoup my brain. Most do not understand how much I need to do that. Primarily there is a valued period of spending time with the Father. I always have a notepad with me, and write my thoughts, that generally end up on blog sites.

    Why do I do that? Not because I am selfish and think everybody needs to hear what I have to say, but because I think that others struggle with the same things I do, and maybe we can both get free.

    All that to say, thanks for writing. I really enjoyed reading it.

    I got it.

    The first thing that came to mind when I opened this was the white throne judgment. You know, the one where he separates the sheep from the goats. That puzzled me for the longest time, but then someone said, sheep follow, goats butt. Reading about that scenario you find the sheep shocked that God grants them entrance. He tells them it is because you did the right thing. Apparently the goats operated on pure selfishness - get out of my way!

    Your report is all very typical.... many of us have had similar experiences.

    I have wasted hundreds of hours in useless discussions with well-meaning but unenlightened people (these are the people who have eyes but see not and ears but hear not.... who see but do not perceive... and so forth).

    Only this morning I was asked, "why did I not come to the adult Sunday School ?"..... mind you, I had sat in on one previously without saying a word.... and it bad use of my time, and TIME is all we have (and there is much work to be done and precious little time to do it in... I mean, seriously devoted pastors are near burnout.... and still there is much work to be done).

    I mean what can I say ?

    I tried to explain to the nice lady that I could perhaps teach that particular topic in a clearer, easier to understand presentation and offered to give her my CD set on that topic.... her reply was, why don't I come to the Adult Sunday School and stimulate discussion..... Oh boy...  been there, done that, way too many times in my life already.... I smiled sweetly and wished her a wonderful day.

    You were perfectly correct to follow the Holy Spirit leading in ministering to those two young men.

    The ONLY WAY to bear lasting fruit in effective service for GOD is to be led by His Spirit.

    He will lead us to the right people and give us the right words for their need..... it is amazing, thrilling and spectacular .... once you have seen how God works through you and you feel just like an Old Testament Prophet must have felt.... so honored to be used of the Great Immortal God and to know that He is directing your life !

    I rarely get into discussions.... and (now) never into arguments....

    Here is how I do it now... I explain the Word with authority.... and leave it at that...  God's Word is fully capable of doing it's own work.... does it need my "intellectual wit" to "convince" somebody or "win" an argument ?.... Certainly NOT !... all that is pandering to the flesh.... causes us to get all "excited" when we are "winning" and "hot under the collar" when we are "not getting anywhere".... and all the time the clock is ticking.... the whole day disappears.... and absolutely NOTHING has been achieved..... I know.... been there.... that's how I first started "working for God" many year's ago.... and boy, was it "hard work"...  achieving NOTHING.

    I pray you a double portion of His Spirit .... so that you may bear fruit... and that your fruit may ENDURE.

    Habiendo recientemente un problema de esta naturaleza, esto se vuelve muy importante para mí. Me encanta el concepto de absolución, además de estar desaparecido por completo en los ojos de Dios. Para el estado de absolver significa que no sucedió legalmente.

    Thank you for listening to the Father/Holy Spirit and delivering that word. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy, and I feel as though I have been in midst of prophets this day.

    Another that caught my attention was your usage of the capital letters at appropriate times. I feel as though you delivered this the way you heard it in your spirit.

    I ask the Father to continue to speak through you, and grant you a greater boldness, in Jesus mighty name.

    I was thinking the same thing David.  I was kind of looking down my nose at the people of Israel back then and after I thought about it, I really am no better. I'm always asking for something! I try always always to  thank God for the blessings he gives me, but should we pray for things?  Good weather? health?

    In the desert, Israel could not bear to hear the voice of God so the Lord decided to convey his wishes to us through the profits. Pretty Idescribable to me! I wonder if when we ate from the tree of knowlage, our thirst to understand everything began. I wonder if we fool ourselves into thinking we could ever understand God completely.

    Isn't it just like us to try and put God in a box?  In the ark in this case, but figuratively we try to put Him in a box by describing Him in ways we can grasp.  In reallity he is indescribable.  A little off topic, but your comment made me think about this instead.  The israelites thought they could just take the ark and use it to do their will instead of asking God what his will was.  We still try and do that as well don't we?

    I have always gotten a bang out of this story. Seems to me however that the men were more concerned about the land than the girls! When I read it I said "men!" (sorry about that GB) wink I wonder how the talk went in the holy huddles around the campfire. You can bet your boots that those men were really eyeing these gals for more than one reason. Probably the pressure was on those gals but after their own slumber party they decided that this might be a good plan after all as they would get to choose their own husbands. And so being observant, wise, and discerning, they made sure they chose those men that would honor their father's wishes along with hers. These gals were not stupid by any means! 

    This is one of those times it would be fun to be a fly on the wall.

    Thank you for your heart and willing to help. Currently we are collecting the feedback regarding:

     

    1. Whether the translations of person / location names in the texts/ notes are correct or not;
    2. Whether the usages of punctuations are correct or not;
    3. Whether the format is correct or not.

    You can use it in your daily Bible study so it won't cost you much addiditional time. We are more glad if  you can introduce the CNET product to the B&S in your church and followship. The more people use it, the better.

    Sorry, I messed up the title. I admit it; I am not a very disciplined person, but I have come to see a need for it.

    I too am recently single again, but it has certainly freed up more time to be disciplined. No, I do not have specific times that I do things, I still work, and my schedule is never the same, so I take what I can get.

    I just wish I had more time to give to the Lord. I would love to teach bible study - especially to the undisciplined.

     

    Hardly anyone here makes comments, and I love comments. It lets me know that people are still breathing out there.

         You are asking very important questions. I find these days most people just ignore difficult doctrines. There is great blessings to be found in exploring these things and letting the Holy Spirit speak to you through them. I have been studying His word for over 40years and still finds new debts of insight all the time. I take great comfort pondering the Sovereignty of God.


    “so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.” Ephesians3:17-20 NIV

    Ozzie, my friend...

    I stand along side you warning our generation of the coming of our Lord.  God is preparing and positioning His church for exit.  Your ministry is not only valid, it is valuable - never stop declaring His coming.  Stand firm, unashamed and passionate.  God's wrath has been tempered by Christ's love.  Terrorism, rising crime rates and other heinous news events train society to respond to love rather than wrath.  Love people.  One question I consider when thinking about why the world rejects our Lord, "why are you running from God?  He just wants to love you...."
