Okay my name is Greg Sambrano, You can follow me on twitter: @study2k11 where I Tweet my daily walk, struggles, accomplishments, victories and my Bible Study notes.

When Jesus talks about the sower of the seeds in Mark
4:18-19 that's me I hear the message but it gets choked out by my selfish desires.

Mark 4:18. The seeds that fell among the thorn bushes are also people who hear the message.

Mark 4:19. But they start worrying about
the needs of this life. They are fooled by the desire to get rich and to have all kinds of other things. So the message gets choked out, and they never produce anything.

So please pray for me to have the willpower to resist the temptations of my flesh and to obtain a perfect walk with our Jesus Christ. I have been walking the path with our Lord
Jesus Christ and never let him go not a night goes by that I am not in communication with him. I feel like Romans 7:14-25 for, I know that the law is spiritual, but every time I try to
do right. Evil surges into me, and I end up doing wrong, but I know now. It is no longer I that do it but sin that dwells in me does it. And then it goes on to say but thanks, be to the blood that our Lord Jesus Christ shed for our sins I am saved. But that’s a copout I can hide behind that I am still doing something wrong and I really don’t know what is? I need help please Jesus, grant me the help I need to fulfill your word to share your word with the world and everyone in it.
Allow me to grow in understanding and discipline with obedience to fulfill your call that you have for me, whatever it may be. Let me just be able to fulfill your wishes. I pray maybe not enough before, but I now pray every day before, I didn’t want to teach your word, preacher word, share your word. But now I do. Please Jesus here my prayer let it not be too late. So those who are reading this please plead with our Lord Jesus Christ. Go to his father on my behalf so that he could use me. And allow the Holy Spirit to guide me in the direction he needs to speak, teach or utilize to God the father’s advantage.
So once again, I beg you father in heaven please use me for your purpose in your name. Jesus I pray amen.

Clarification

So Greg, this is what I hear you saying in the three posts I just read:

1.  You have had a personal relationship involving communication with Jesus.

2.  You have a great deal of Biblical knowledge.

3.  With that knowledge has not come wisdom.

4.  Obedience is not something you have been able to achieve.

5.  You believe there is a call on your life, and you are crying out to fulfill that call.

6.  You feel desperate.

Greg, I would humbly suggest reading Psalm 34 very carefully and meditating on it, the FEAR OF THE LORD, especially.

Also, it seems to me as if whatever advice you receive, you will have a comeback or excuse for.  For example, when I just suggested to start learning the FEAR of the Lord, is your first thought or response to say, but I DO have that?  If so, I would also pray for a teachable spirit.

With whom, Greg, are you gathering together?  Have you talked with your Pastor and Elders about what you are posting?

Finally, have you come out of an occult background?  If so, say so and I will have some other suggestions that might get you to where you say you desire to be with the Lord.  You see, it's unusual for you to have this relationship with Him, but still to be able to choose the world over Him consistently.

Okay, that was not my final comment.  You might want to email me with this rather than post.  Are you having any suicidal thoughts?  If the answer is yes, please seek a Godly Church.  We, the Body of Christ, are here to help.  I believe you need a Holy Ghost baptized, spirit-filled mentor who is gifted by God to bring counsel from the Lord.

Nothing is hidden from the Lord.  One time, Greg, I was ministering in a prison.  One of the inmates was down on the floor acting as if she were demon possessed.  Many from our team was down praying over her.  One of them came to get me to come help as they didn't seem to be getting anywhere.  The issues was, I didn't see anything but flesh.  So I went over, knelt down and whispered into her ear:  This isn't a demon; this is you getting attention.  Get up and behave yourself.  If you don't, you are giving the demons a foothold, and you might just get what you are acting out.  She got up, sat down, and repented.  It's really, really important to not play games with God.

Another time I was in a small group at a prayer meeting, and one of the women related a dream she had had.  I interpreted that dream as God gave it to me.  It proved to be exactly accurate.  Then her husband said he also had had a dream.  He told it to me.  I got nothing from the Holy Spirit--absolutely zero.  There is more to it than I'm telling you, but I'm cutting this short to give you the idea.  The man then said that this was test.  He had not had a dream.  This again is another extremely dangerous thing to do--testing the Holy Spirit.

Your Prayer

Greg,

I pray with you and your wife that your life will begin to bear the fruit of obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ. That would be so precious in His sight.

I'm just going to jot a few notes that are essential to my own walk:

1) Attend a Bible believing and preaching church every Sunday. No exceptions.

2) Serve at your church. Healing comes through giving and serving.

3) Find a men's Bible study group, or a husband/wife Bible study group at your own church and attend it regularly.

4) Does your church have elders? Maybe a mentoring program? Writing (such as a blog) is ok for some purposes, but not for relationship building w/ godly Christians. You need real, live people to do that. Find some men in your church whom you can relate to and spend time with them, perhaps on work projects or something like that.

5) Continue reading your Bible daily. I love Psalms, myself.

6) Continue praying. Talk to God the Father and God the Son in your prayers. Talk to them each day without hesitation, confiding in them as you did to us on-line here.

7) Memorize scripture and carry a meaningful verse with you daily in your pocket.

8) Keep your eyes on Christ.

Christina
