All Positive?

Life, like a battery, must have both positive and negative to work properly.
God’s word gives us many examples.
Notice these verses from Proverbs 15:25-29
25 – “The LORD will destroy the house of the proud (negative): but he will establish the border of the widow (positive).”
26 - “The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD (negative): but the words of the pure are pleasant words (positive).”
27 - “He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house (negative); but he that hateth gifts shall live (positive).”
28 - “The heart of the righteous studieth to answer (positive): but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things (negative).”
29 - “The LORD is far from the wicked (negative): but he heareth the prayer of the righteous (positive).”
To have a well-balanced life, there must be some negative and some positive. If a person tries to have only positive in their life, they open themselves up to trouble. Notice when the devil tempted Eve, he tempted Eve with all positive things. Genesis 3:6, “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food (positive), and that it was pleasant to the eyes (positive), and a tree to be desired to make one wise (positive), she took of the fruit thereof.”
If someone comes to you speaking only positive words, beware, lest you be deceived. Romans 16:18b says “by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.” People aren't deceived by negative words, or rough speeches. They are deceived by good-sounding, positive words and wonderful speeches, coming from ministers of righteousness who are actually ministers of satan (see 2 Corinthians 11:15).

Good and bad
Submitted by omharris on Wed, 04/11/2012 - 00:59.Does this imply the "well meaning", with an emphasis on mean, replies that I have received on my blog from other sites. Not this site, as no one responds here.
I know what you mean. But doesn't the fact that I commented prove that I at least read it, and that could be a positive? Heh.
Although you might not gather it from this comment I appreciated your post.
