"They turned the world upside down!"

What an awesome privilege it is to know, serve, and love the Lord Jesus Christ and, "Oh, I want to help spring Christians free from the thick fog of apathy that seems to have a choke hold on them!" I wonder what it must have felt like to be on the ministry team with the Apostle Paul when he was preaching as recorded in Acts chapter 17 and to hear that the public were calling us Christians, "Those who have turned the world upside down"! Well, I believe that we can do it again; but, how do you feel about this kind of challenging idea? Do you agree with me or not? I will enjoy some discussion. Larry Chesser, Jr.

great challenge!

Dr. Larry

We can become an online missionary so that you are sharing the love of  Christ across the globe. But, more importantly it happens right in our community with our next door neighbors. I was challenged to go and meet my neighbors...I have now lived here since August and yet not one  neighbor has come to greet us! That is pretty sad. blushBut, when I began to think about it, I said...why not me. Why don't I step out and go and meet them and so I did. Taking those baby steps into our community is how we begin the process of turning the world upside down. One reason I think we don't do that is that we have allowed the busyness of our daily lives and work to capture our attention rather than the needs of others.

Your challenge is worthy ..now let's see if others agree!~ and let's do it. Let's all start here: Start the Spiritual Maturity Journey by clicking on it at the upper right corner of users page. We must be prepared and what better way than to take that path so we are educated.

Thanks for the challenge set before us and Ozzie for adding to that challenge with verses that give us the foundational ideas.

ps Come and join me as I seek to add my footprint to that idea here: https://www.facebook.com/bible.org

Peter, in the second chapter

Peter, in the second chapter of Acts, stood before those that mocked and said,

Acts 2:15-21 KJV  For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.  (16)  But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;  (17)  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:  (18)  And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:  (19)  And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:  (20)  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:  (21)  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Now read Joel 2. You will discover that it is speaking of the day of Jesus return. This happens at the end of the seven years of the Great Tribulation. While one might say, that day is yet to come. Then the fact that Peter declared that day upon us, tells me God blew the doors off that day. The day of God's spirit being poured out is upon us, and has been for some time. The gifts and calling of God, so freely poured out upon his sons and daughters, are here. By faith walk boldly into what God is calling you to.

It is now my quest to turn the world that I have an impact on, UPSIDE down.

I have a word from the Lord for you. ..............Release!......

You have heard the calling in your spirit. The Holy Spirit has laid this upon you; begin to move in it.

Revelation 19:10 .. The testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy.

Go and prophecy
